Honeywell developed a novel NEP (Naptha to ethane and propapne) technology to produce light olefins. This technology produces ethane and peopane in customizable quantityfrom naptha or LPG. NEP enhances energy efficiency and reduces carbon emissions per metric tonne of light olefin by 5-50%.
