A Study Tour/ Visit of Aditya Aluminium Plant, Lapanga, Odisha, was jointly organized by FCDO and the BEE with the support of Hindalco Industries Ltd. on 22nd November 2022. The plant, located at Lapanga, Sambalpur, Odisha, has a production capacity of 380,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) powered by a 900 MW captive plant. The Study Tour/ Visit played a crucial role in fostering dialogue and developing an understanding of Energy Efficiency and Decarbonization measures taken by Aditya Aluminium Plant.
